Gosh, Jerzy, I bet you get your name butchered all the time. Still, ya gotta admit, that next to Welsh Polish pronunciation is just about the most difficult in the world for English speakers, and that's not at all helped by the fact (as in Welsh) that the orthography differs so much from the pronunciation (English-wise).

Jerzy, I thought Bill did great! Let's face it - Polish is not the easiest to pronounce. Even if I was chuckling a bit hearing some of the names, I could recognize it all, and I definitely enjoyed the music and Bill's commentary (as always). Great music and great host; Bill - thanks for bringing music of Poland all the way to Amarillo, Texas (via High Plains Public Radio).

You do such wonderful things on your programs, bringing us music we've never heard that is so very interesting. A little bit of tutoring on pronouncing Polish would greatly enhance your considerable knowledge. Example: Jerzy is not yertsy but yezhy, where the zh is in azure.
