My wife and I have been listening to this broadcast for a little over a year. It is part of the University of Oregon classical station, and 'Exploring Music' has been our favorite program. I particularly like Bill McGlaughlin's voice. It is just one of those voices that you wish could read you a story before bed. We also appreciate his interest in the history of the pieces that he plays, and the composers who wrote them. We have however, been a little dissatisfied with the selection of music played. My wife is Japanese, and she has noticed that there is very little music played from that county, or any country outside of Europe. We are both avid fans of video games, and one of her favorite game's music has been adapted into an orchestral version. The composer, Koichi Sugiyama, has adapted other video game music into a compilation titled 'Orchestral Game Concerts'. It would be interesting to hear Bill's take on this music, and it would be nice to hear classical music from a different nation. Just a thought.
