Living in a rural area as I do, I look forward to Exploring Music as anevening lifeline. Many thanks for the week of Handel. Although as a chorus fan I've sung a lot of his music (Messiah, Zadok, Coronation anthem) the concerti grossi were a delightful surprise. All his music strikes me as exceptionally cheerful.

We always enjoy and appreciate3 Exploring Music, but this week of Handel was especially good for us--musically, educationally (Handel and his music in the political scenes of Germany, Italy, and England), and inspirationally. Thanks for introducing us to so many of his operas.
