Enharmonic Notes to Bill- Everything, and I mean everything that you talk about resonates a mentally reenforced vibration and I thank you mightily for that.
I am a jazz pianist and composer, but when I studied at Mannes School of Music, I was introduced to Mahler's Third Symphony so the week of Mahler and the pathos that you delivered was in the tradition of Joy/Sadness, lows and very high, highs of Gustav Mahler. Thanks for that as well as yesterday's songs of Autumn (September Song) and who knew about Vernon Duke encounter with Gershwin. Jeri Southern does justice to Autumn in New York with that great intro!! Thanks for your musical traveling and demonstration!!
Lastly, I thought I was the only one who was hearing Westside Story's "There's a Place For Us" as the subway doors close!!!
