Dear Debbie - I think you are referring to Paul Adam's books - go to amazon and check them out.
I hope I am correct as I missed 2 out of the 5 broadcasts this week. Let me know.

I happened to catch part of this program and loved it. Was hoping to find a podcast of it--not finding it right away, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Any possibility of hearing it in total, after the fact? And possibly being able to forward the link to a few people I think might enjoy it as well? I also would like a list of the various authors. Am interested to see if I can find the Italian violin maker detective series. Sounds intriguing!

This is one of my favorite themes for the show ever! Excellent choices! How might one get a list of the books selected?

If you truly want to read a book inspired by the great classical composers and their outstanding musical pieces then this is the book for you!! The book is filled with angelic melodies which unravel throughout the story as you flip the pages! The best part for me was when I searched for these melodies (on YouTube) and listened to them while reading. This gave me a complete cinematic effect which is what I believe the writer envisioned for us all and by far, definitely achieved! Beautiful and powerful experience!!!

The "Spanish romance" is a beautiful story of the life of a special man with great values, intertwined masterfully with classical melodies that create a highly cinematic effect for the reader. It's one of these stories that stays with you for life. I wish there was an interactive version where the music plays as the writer envisioned it, it would be a magic experience.

I read Spanish Romance last summer and fell in love with the story as well as the music as it's theme!!!!! It's a very powerful story. Highly recommended if you are looking for an inspirational and passionate page-turner. The end of the book implies that there will be several more books to come for a total of four, so I can't wait for the next release!

What a fascinating broadcast: literature and music. I will be more than happy to send you a copy of a book inspired by music
(used a "reverse engineering" technique: dressed with words inspirational musical compositions - the exact opposite of what a film composer does)
this is the website of the book "Spanish Romance"

Thank you for the amazing, inspiring and educational programs
