I would second this in the context of a series on Electronic Music: Its Inception and Development. You could begin with the theremin, then go to Moog and gradually go through the evolution of computer-generated music to today's output.
I might suggest you interview composers who use the medium, so they can explain it to the listener.

Any chance we get could a whole week of either or both of these 20th c composers? I never hear enough 20th c avant-garde on classical stations. Thank you!
