Bill, I LOVE to listen to your show...Thank you!!!! I always learn something new.
Question: During the Music Critic week, I heard a snippet of a story about a composer whose piece made its debut with a conductor who may have been drunk; the piece sounded awful, the critics were merciless. The composer's ensuing depression was only lifted through hypnosis. Who was that composer?
