Carl conducts the Grace Senior Choir, soloists, and orchestra.

WHEATON BAND FESTIVAL

Carl hosts two evenings of band concerts from the band shell in Municipal Park in Wheaton
(Don’t have the exact starting times yet.)

WFMT SANTA FE TOUR—Carl leads a group of WFMT listeners for a three-day sojourn to the Santa Fe Opera and Chamber Music Festival. August 3-6.  See the travel section  of the WFMT website.

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN FOOTBALL
Carl is the stadium P.A. Announcer for the Michigan Marching Band—and for the call of the games, too.

Carl Grapentine
WFMT Morning Program Co-Host Carl Grapentine first joined WFMT in 1986 and is now the co-host of the Morning Program. He has given pre-concert lectures for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Symphony of Oak Park—River Forest, and many other groups. An alumnus of the University of Michigan School of Music, Carl has been the "stadium voice" of the Michigan Marching Band for 35 seasons—his voice being heard on national telecasts of 14 Rose Bowls and numerous other bowl games.
