NEA Opera Honors Gala
In October 2008, WFMT broadcast the NEA Opera Honors – live from the new Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, DC. Co-hosted by Martin Goldsmith and Robert Aubry Davis on the radio, it will be hosted from the stage by Dana Gioia, and Placido Domingo.

Honorees for this special event are Conductor James Levine, composer Carlisle Floyd, arts administrator Richard Gaddes and soprano Leontyne Price.
