Show: Health Secrets: What Every Woman Should Know
Reports to: Producers, Associate, and Assistant Producers
This internship is open for the Fall term (August/September through December)
Scope/Responsibility
The intern is responsible for providing support and back up for our team of producers, associate producers, and assistant producers. The intern will assist in the following areas: researching topics, scheduling shoots, booking guests, logging and screening tapes, creating transcripts, procuring releases, booking audience, assisting on edits and tape days. In addition, the intern will also assist In creating and producing web content.
Position Requirements
Strong communication skills
Ability to collaborate with series staff
Ability to respond to project demands with creativity and enthusiasm
Ability to clearly perform tasks in a timely manner
Duties
Researching stories
Researching guests
Booking stories or guests
Setting up shoots at NMH
Booking and scheduling crews
Distributing schedules to crew
Setting up production office & creating organizational system for tapes
Creating transcripts
Logging Tapes
Overseeing edit of Web Content
Overseeing production of podcasts
