Stanley Kubrick and Classical Music on Sunday Cinema

The great director of Paths of Glory, Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dr. Strangelove, The Shining, Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut, Spartacus and other classics died 10 years ago - March 7, 1999.

We remember his film legacy by noting some of his classical music choices on our new program, Sunday Cinema...heard Sundays at 3pm on WFMT. Here's a look and a listen to some of Kubrick's best-known classical pix....
