The Studs Terkel Radio Archive
In addition to these cultural radio programs, the WFMT Radio Network also manages the Studs Terkel Archive. Over the course of his 45 years on WFMT, Studs Terkel discussed every aspect of 20th-century life with movers, shakers, artists, and working folks. From civil rights to labor to jazz, his work spanned an impressive array of topics and figures. These enchanting, historically-significant interviews — which have largely been inaccessible to the public — will soon come to life in a new website.
