In a city replete with an embarrassment of musical riches, you can help decide the 35 musical moments and events that will be remembered in years to come. Or, as the organizing nonprofit Art & Business Council of Chicago, which supports arts, music, and cultural organizations, puts it, you can “help ensure that the beat goes on.” In what is both the Year of Chicago Music and the Art & Business Council’s 35th anniversary, you are invited to select and submit your Chicago musical memories to help determine the 35 defining moments of music in Chicago.

You can also support the city’s creative communities in the face of COVID-19 enter by entering raffles to win such prizes as a Peloton (a souped-up exercise bike is never more useful than during a quarantine…), a bevy of barbecue bonuses, a gourmand gift basket, and more! Make your voice (singing or otherwise) heard, go vote and enter at chimusic35.com, now through June 19.
