We have been sharing music created for the screen — screens large, medium, and small — for a whole year now and that is cause for celebration!

Soundtrack turns one year this week, and for the month of January, we will share some archival selections and some lesser-known classics from the Soundtrack library.

Chicago Tribune film critic Michael Phillips and Soundtrack producer Greg Broderick will pick some of their past favourites, and Maggie has some new surprises from the Soundtrack “vault”!

So much great movie, TV, and videogame music to celebrate, all month long on Soundtrack!

Alexandre Desplat: selections from the 2019 film, Little Women.

Gareth Coker: Riding the Wind, from the videogame, Ori and the Blind Forest.

Malcolm Arnold: an excerpt from Whistle Down the Wind (1961)

Patrick Doyle: selections from Henry V (1989) and Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire (2005)
