The Super Heroes of Women’s History Month save the day this week on Soundtrack!

Mild-mannered Chicago Tribune film critic Michael Phillips introduces a classic Superman theme from John Williams, Maggie shares the Caped Crusader’s animated side with a score by one of Hollywood’s top female composers, and Greg Broderick shares more heroic videogame scores.

Maggie also discusses a recent documentary about three trail-blazing women composing during the 19th and 20th centuries, and shares some tracks from the film.
