Guitarists Adam Cicchillitti and Steve Cowan present their new album, Intimate Impressions for Two Guitars, which offers a collection of 20th century works for piano, harp, or guitar composed in Paris by French greats Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Germaine Tailleferre, and André Jolivet and the Catalan composer Federico Mompou. The arrangements for two guitars, most of which are by Cicchillitti and Cowan, beautifully transpose the sonic colors, intimacy, and lyricism of the original works.
