Best of Studs Terkel
Music for a Desert Island (02/10/1978)
Studs Terkel often quipped, "1912 – the Titanic went down and I came up!" Studs was born on May 12 of that year. Known around WFMT as the station's resident Free Spirit, Studs often presented some of his very favorite recordings on what he called his "desert island" shows. Complete with the nostalgic crackle of vintage vinyl, this free association assortment aired in 1966 and 1978.
