Window To The World Communications, Inc. Elects New Members to its Board of Trustees

CHICAGO – February 6, 2023 – Window To The World Communications, Inc. (WWCI), parent organization of WTTW and WFMT, has announced the election of three new members of its Board of Trustees, each to three-year terms.

Connie Lindsey recently retired as Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Northern Trust. She is a public and motivational speaker on topics of diversity and inclusion, corporate responsibility, leadership, and personal and professional empowerment.  In addition to WTTW and WFMT, her current boards include American Cancer Society; Chicago Community Trust; Leadership Greater Chicago; McCormick Theological Seminary; Obama Foundation Inclusion Council; United Church Funds and Chicago Urban League.

David Mabie is Co-Founder and Partner at Chicago Capital, a financial services and personal investment firm. He has been in the investment business since 1991 in positions with William Blair and Stein Roe & Farnham. In addition to WTTW and WFMT, his current boards include Bates Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership at Lewis & Clark College; Chicago High School for the Arts Foundation; the Franklin Philanthropic Foundation; the Springboard Foundation; the University Club of Chicago; and the Investment Committee of the School for Little Children.

Rachel Saunders is the CEO of Apex Digital Assets, a digital investing platform sub-division of Apex Fintech Solutions and a PEAK6 portfolio company. Prior to the joining the operating side of the business, Rachel worked in the Investment and Corporate Development arm of the firm, PEAK6 Strategic Capital. After less than three years, she was promoted to Principal, where she worked for two years before transitioning to her CEO position at Apex Digital Assets. Rachel began her career as an Associate in the Corporate Group at global law firm Sidley Austin after receiving her J.D. at The University of Michigan Law School.
