Argentine composer, bandoneon player and arranger, Astor Piazzolla, was born on March 11, 1921. Pianist Marta Aznavoorian and violinist Philippe Quint celebrate the occasion by performing music by Piazzolla, as well as selections from Stravinsky, Bach, and Debussy, classical composers who influenced Piazzolla’s characteristic sound.
