Civitas

With repertoire spanning four centuries, Civitas seeks to serve the people of Chicago by bring live classical music performances to those who might not have access. Recognized for this as well as their musicianship, they were asked to performed with Yo-Yo Ma at the 2012 Chicago Humanities Festival. They currently serve as the Artist in Residence for the Chinese Fine Arts Society and Valparaiso University’s Department of Music. Here, they perform works of Hummel, Muczynski, and Schubert live from the Levin Performance Studio.
