Founded by conductor Enrique Bátiz in 1971 the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México or the Symphony Orchestra of the State of Mexico is one of the most important orchestras in the world. They have travelled worldwide as well as being one of the great supporters of Latin American music.  Host Elbio Barilari, will pick some of his favorite Latin American compositions recorded by this distinguished orchestra.
