This year’s Rush Hour Concert Series at St. James Cathedral wrapped up with the music of Leonard Bernstein, joining the worldwide celebration of his centennial in 2018. The program on August 28 opened with the Sonata, Op. 1, originally written for clarinet and adapted for viola by Raphael Hillyer, a friend and recital partner of Bernstein. Then, the Cathedral Choir and conductor Stephen Buzard presented Chichester Psalms.
