New York-based Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd has been described by The Washington Post as “truly evocative,” by Gramophone as a “fine guitarist,” and by Classical Guitar Magazine as “a player who deserves to be heard.” In his third solo album, Boyd pays tribute to the guitar in a program of works by Bach, Sor, Jobim, Lennon, Piazzolla, and two composers still very much alive and working, Cuba’s Leo Brouwer and Australia’s Graeme Koehne.
