Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet finds outstanding advocates in this performance, and Finzi’s autumnal Bagatelles are heard here in a delightful arrangement by Christian Alexander. Contemporary American composer John Corigliano wrote his deeply-moving Soliloquy in memory of his late father, and Argentinian composer Carolina Heredia wrote Ius in Bello in 2014 as a fascinating exploration of social justice.
