Mathieu Gaudet, concert pianist and full-time emergency physician, presents Schubert: Explorations, the fourth and most recent chapter of his ambitious project to record the complete sonatas and major piano works of the great Austrian composer Franz Schubert. The program includes the Sonata in F Minor, D. 625, and the Moments musicaux, D. 780, written in 1823 and 1824, which represent Schubert’s first attempts at the “song without words” genre.
