Sir Andrew Davis leads the CSO in Beethoven’s First and Fourth piano concertos, both featuring Paul Lewis as soloist. The program begins with Tippet’s Little Music for String Orchestra and continues with the composer’s Praeludium for Brass, Bells, and Percussion. Rounding out the broadcast, Seiji Ozawa leads Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra from a 1967 RCA recording.
