Tabitha Mo, age 16, is a sophomore at William Fremd High School in Palatine and studies flute with Hideko Amano. Most recently, she won first prize in the 2022 Chicago International Music Competition Young Artist Division, and also received first prize from the 2022 Society of American Musicians Intermediate Division. Tabitha has received numerous awards in the past which include third prize in the senior division of the Chicago Flute Club Competition in 2021 and second prize in the Elementary division, and Honorable Mention from the DePaul Concerto Festival.
