In a program called Coração Americano, Italian-American virtuoso flutist Marina Piccinini joins Brazilian-American pianist, singer, bass player and composer Clarice Assad and her father, guitarist and composer Sérgio Assad in a celebration of Latin American music. The trio presents music for flute, voice, guitar, and piano by Astor Piazzolla, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Clarice Assad, and Sérgio Assad alongside standards from the Latin American songbook.
