In this broadcast we hear a quartet of great composers lead the New York Philharmonic in their own music: Darius Milhaud’s orchestral arrangement of his Suite francaise, Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, a requiem by Paul Hindemith, and Richard Rodgers’ Carousel Waltz.
