This week we bring you some highlights from the New York Philharmonic’s storied discography, recorded in the 1970s. Leonard Bernstein conducts Benjamin Britten’s Suite on English Folk Tunes, and is joined by Donald McInnes and the Camerata Singers for William Schuman’s Concerto on Old English Rounds. Also on this program is Béla Bartók’s The Wooden Prince conducted by Pierre Boulez with Walter Rosenberger performing the solo xylophone part.
