Join WFMT for a Classical Conversation with the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic’s co-founder and artistic director Orbert Davis, and Mark Ingram, its co-founder and producing director. They will focus on Orbert’s Emmy Award-winning score for WTTW’s DuSable to Obama: Chicago Black Metropolis and the orchestra’s upcoming live concert performance of it. They will also discuss their love of jazz; the founding of Chicago Jazz Philharmonic; and their deep commitment to the arts and how it impacts the lives of individuals, diversifies the culture of a community, and defines the fabric of a city.
