Manfred Honeck leads the CSO with a US Premiere of Auerbach’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra (a CSO co-commission) featuring Gautier Capuçon. The program begins with Glinka’s Overture to Ruslan and Ludmila and concludes with Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5. Closing out, Neeme Järvi conducts Kodály’s Dances of Galánta from a 1990 Chandos recording.
