Mon, 6/12 — Georgia and Louise Mangos

Duo-pianists Georgia and Louise Mangos have concertized throughout Europe and the United States. Chicago-area natives, the Mangos have appeared on numerous local recital series including the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, the Chopin Foundation, and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Tues, 6/13 — Grant Park Orchestra

Carlos Kalmar and the Grant Park Orchestra

The Grant Park Orchestra was formed in 1944 when the Chicago Park District assembled a resident orchestra to perform at the Grant Park Music Festival. Today, the orchestra draws its musicians from throughout the United States. Each summer, all of the musicians gather in Millennium Park for a ten-week season consisting of intensive rehearsals and performances.

Brad Conroy is a versatile guitarist, performer, and educator who specializes in the art and scholarship of the classical guitar. He performs from a diverse repertoire which begins at the Renaissance and goes through to the 21st century, often including his own compositions, improvisations, and new works which have been dedicated to him.

Fri, 6/16 — Live from WFMT Encore: Alexander Hersh and Victor Santiago Asunción

Cellist Alexander Hersh has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting and creative talents of his generation. In November 2022, he was joined by pianist Victor Santiago Asunción for a performance on Live From WFMT.
