Alan Gilbert Conducts Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis

Then Music Director Alan Gilbert is joined by an all-star quartet of soloists and the New York Choral Artists in a 2010 performance of Beethoven’s Missa solemnis. The soloists are soprano Christine Brewer, mezzo-soprano Jane Henschel, tenor Anthony Dean Griffey, and bass-baritone Eric Owens. Also on the program: a recording from the New York Philharmonic’s premiere of Magnus Lindberg’s Al largo.
