In its second appearance at Ravinia Festival, the Danish Quartet opened with Haydn’s Quartet in G minor, Op. 20, No. 3, followed by arrangements of fugues from J.S. Bach’s The Art of Fugue, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 7. The second half of the program featured the ensemble’s signature arrangements of folk music—an audience favorite.
