One of America’s foremost pianists, Jeremy Denk is also an accomplished author, whose 2022 memoir Every Good Boy Does Fine is a New York Times bestseller. Prized for the clarity and charisma he brings to both works from both the Baroque era and the more audience-challenging modern and contemporary repertoire, Denk is similarly acclaimed for his writing and on music and music making. He joins WFMT to describe his regular collaboration with violinist Joshua Bell and his approach to interpreting music from 17th and 18th century, including a listeners’ tour of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 in D Minor.
