Salonen & Kuusisto

Esa-Pekka Salonen returns to the CSO podium for Ravel’s Mother Goose and Stravinsky’s Symphony in Three Movements. In between, Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto introduces a 2021 concerto by Bryce Dessner. The broadcast rounds out with a 1981 London recording of Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra led by eighth music director Sir Georg Solti.
