Wind and water are at the heart of Chicago’s identity. Dame Jane Glover leads a program inspired by our hometown, including a suite from Handel’s grand Water Music. MOB’s wind and horn principals are featured in Hummel’s Bassoon Concerto and Mozart’s fourth Horn Concerto. Symphonies by Joseph Bologne and Joseph Haydn, both members of the mysterious Freemason Society, add to the intrigue.
