In 2019, the Chicago-based Northside Brass released Christmas Carols for Brass as an homage to the brilliant 1967 release Festive Carols for Brass by the Philadelphia Brass ensemble. Northside Brass hoped to emulate the brilliance, beauty, and joy heard on the Philadelphia album.
