Established in 1979, Chicago Master Singers is an auditioned chorus of 100 volunteer singers from Chicago and suburban communities. The ensemble’s repertoire includes great choral works and new works by living composers.

Thurs, 12/14 — Northside Brass

In 2019, the Chicago-based Northside Brass released Christmas Carols for Brass as an homage to the brilliant 1967 release Festive Carols for Brass by the Philadelphia Brass ensemble. Northside Brass hoped to emulate the brilliance, beauty, and joy heard on the Philadelphia album.

Chicago a cappella is a vocal ensemble that moves the heart and spirit with fun, innovative concerts. The group has been acclaimed as “a jewel in the crown of Chicago’s musical life” (The American Organist) and praised for its “clarity, well-balanced tone, and deep emotional involvement” (Washington Post).
