The youngest cellist to place first at the International Tchaikovsky Competition returns to Ravinia! Zlatomir Fung has been in high demand since his days at the Ravinia Steans Music Institute. In addition to features with the Cleveland Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, and London Philharmonic Orchestra, Fung currently serves as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Artist-In-Residence. Tonight’s Ravinia broadcast features the cellist performing works of Bach, Popper and more alongside dynamic pianist Dina Vainshtein. Concert originally recorded live on August 28th, 2024.
