In this musical hour from 1975, a golden era in Chicago’s folk scene, Steve Goodman (1948–1984), Fred Holstein (1942–2004), and Claudia Schmidt (1953 – ) talk with Studs about Somebody Else’s Troubles, their legendary gathering place for local performers. It wouldn’t be a program with these stellar singer songwriters without some performances of their own. This program is dedicated to Steve Goodman. He died of leukemia, on September 20, 1984, at the age of 36, and we miss him still.
