John Hagstrom joined the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s trumpet section as fourth trumpet in 1996. A year later, he won the Orchestra’s second trumpet position, carrying on the tradition of brass section teamwork for which the CSO is famous.

The North Shore Chamber Music Festival was founded in 2010 by violinist Vadim Gluzman and pianist Angela Yoffe in a quest to provide Chicago’s North Shore with musical experiences of the same caliber as those found in the great halls of the world, but within an intimate and welcoming environment.
