Founded in 2019, Chamber Music Chicago is a Chicago-based concert series featuring performances by some of today’s leading chamber music artists. Tonight’s Live From WFMT broadcast features CMC’s artistic director, violinist Janet Sung, together with violinist and composer Jessie Montgomery, violist Masumi Rostad, cellist Ani Aznavoorian, and double bassist Alexander Hanna. Kerry Frumkin welcomes this stellar ensemble as they perform the Serenade for violin, viola & cello in D Major by Beethoven, the Duo for violin and cello by Jessie Montgemery, and the String Quintet in G Major by Dvořák.
