Founded in 2011, Northside Brass is comprised of freelance musicians in Chicago who regularly perform with a variety of groups. The ensemble’s holiday recording is an homage to the popular Festival of Carols album released by the Philadelphia Brass Ensemble in the 1960s.

Wed, 12/18 — Music of the Baroque at the National Museum of Mexican Art
We take you to Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood for a live broadcast with Music of the Baroque. The MOB Chorus and Brass offer an enticing program combining festive sounds of the season with a tour of Baroque-era music and composers active in Mexico and Latin America.
Thurs, 12/19 — Millar Brass Ensemble
The Millar Brass Ensemble was founded in 1981 by a group of friends interested in playing and performing large brass ensemble music. Since then, the ensemble has developed into an established tradition with a nine-month performing season and an international reputation for the finest in brass playing.

Established in 1979, Chicago Master Singers is an auditioned chorus of around 100 volunteer singers from Chicago and suburban communities. The ensemble’s repertoire includes great choral works and new works by living composers.
