In June 1974, Studs Terkel’s guests were Bob Woodward (1943 –) and Carl Bernstein (1944 –). These two investigative journalists broke the scandalous story of the infamous Watergate break-in for the Washington Post. They spoke with Studs about how they “got their foot in the door” enough to tell the story despite threats of retaliation from the Nixon administration. They also spoke of their follow-up book, All The President’s Men.
