Cellist Russell Rolen, Artist Faculty at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts and longtime member of the GRAMMY-nominated Spektral Quartet, joins pianists Winston Choi and Yebin Kor for an evening inspired by the legendary collaboration of Mstislav Rostropovich and Benjamin Britten. The program pairs Britten’s Sonata in C with works by Schumann, Debussy, and Shostakovich, weaving conversation and performance in homage to their fearless spirit of musical dialogue.
