Legendary conductor Manfred Honeck leads the New York Philharmonic in Anton Bruckner’s gigantic Symphony No. 9. Clocking in at over an hour long, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor is among the longest in the genre. It was the last symphony he wrote in 1896, on left incomplete at the time of his death. This titan is paired with a curious work by a curious 20th century composer known for his surrealist style.
