Window To The World Communications, Inc. Elects Four New Members to Board of Trustees

Window To The World Communications, Inc. (WWCI), parent organization of WTTW and WFMT, announced the election of four new members of its Board of Trustees, each to three-year terms.

“WTTW and WFMT celebrate the addition of these four outstanding individuals to our Board of Trustees,” said Sandra Cordova Micek, President & CEO, WTTW | WFMT. “They bring invaluable expertise and varied perspectives, and we are confident their leadership will deepen our impact as we continue to work to enrich lives, engage communities, and inspire exploration.”

Patrick Croke is a Partner and Co-Founder of Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres. Prior to the firm’s founding in 2019, Patrick was a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, where he was mentored by the late WTTW and WFMT Trustee and FCC Chairman, Newton Minow. He was named to the inaugural 40 Under 40 list of Irish Legal 100, as a 2016 Truman National Security Project Political Partner, and as a 2017 Chicago Council of Global Affairs Emerging Leader. In addition to WTTW and WFMT, Patrick’s board service and civic involvement include Urban Initiatives, Chicago Public Media Business Leadership Council, and Legal Services Corporation Leaders Council.

Erin Walsh Gibbons is a member of the fourth generation of ownership at The Walsh Group and is actively involved in her family’s philanthropic work through The Walsh Foundation. In addition to WTTW and WFMT, Erin’s other passions include March Fourth, lobbying in Washington, D.C., to advocate for common-sense gun reform; Bear Necessities, a pediatric cancer foundation; and Misericordia. She has also served as president of St. John of the Cross School Board, a role that deepened her commitment to community engagement.

Stephanie Kline has been with BMO since 2018 and currently serves as the Midwest Region Head for BMO’s Diversified Industry Group. She brings nearly 30 years of commercial banking experience in the Chicagoland market, with prior leadership roles at PNC, LaSalle Bank, and Bank of America. In addition to WTTW and WFMT, Stephanie’s board service and civic involvement include the United Way of Metro Chicago Campaign Cabinet and previously on the board of DuPage Children’s Museum.

Kari Sheinfeld is the Head of Global Lending Legal for Commercial & Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. She has spent more than 16 years at the firm in various leadership roles. Kari’s legal career began at Sidley Austin, followed by tenures at Corus Bank and the Transamerica Finance Corporation. In addition to WTTW and WFMT, Kari’s board service and civic involvement include After School Matters, the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
