Lakeshore Rush is a Chicago-based contemporary chamber music ensemble co-founded in 2014 by clarinetist Laura McLaughlin and flutist Erin Murphy. Recognized as one of today’s leading oboists, Alex Klein began his musical studies in his native Brazil at age 9, continuing at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music. Klein was Principal Oboe with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for nine years, and in 2017 was awarded the Oboe Emeritus Soloist title.
