This cute Labrador may be the biggest Mendelssohn fan you’ve seen. A dog joined the Vienna Chamber Orchestra during a recent performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 at the 31st International İzmir Festival in İzmir, Turkey. This outdoor annual festival brings live concerts to the historic stage of the Grand Theater of Ephesus, which was built about two thousand years ago and is still in use today. At some point during first movement, the dog wanders onto the stage and sits quietly next to the first violinist. Watch below in a video posted by pianist Fazıl Say on Facebook, and join the crowd in cheering for this very good dog who just wants to get a little closer to the music.
